چکیده
Combined hepatocellular cholangiocarcinoma (cHCC-CCA) is a rare subtype of primary liver cancers. Therapeutic strategies for patients with cHCC-CCA are limited, and no standard systemic treatment has been established unresectable cHCC-CCA. Here, we present six cases treated atezolizumab plus bevacizumab. We observed three partial responses one stable disease as the best responses; two these were still being bevacizumab at time reporting (at least five months treatment), whereas remaining unable to continue owing adverse events. Atezolizumab may be an effective

A Case of Combined Hepatocellular-Cholangiocarcinoma with Underlying Schistosomiasis
Combined hepatocellular-cholangiocarcinoma is a rare form of primary liver cancer showing features of both hepatocellular and biliary epithelial differentiation. We report here on a case with collision tumor, which apparently was the coincidental occurrence of both hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma underlying schistosomiasis. A 39-year-old-Philippine female was transferred to our ...

Although surgical resection is the only way to cure biliary tract cancer (BTC), most BTCs are unresectable by the time they are diagnosed. Chemotherapy is usually used to treat unresectable BTC, but its impact on survival is small. Here, we report the case of a 70-year-old woman with a locally advanced intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma that was initially diagnosed as an unresectable liver metasta...
متن کاملSarcomatoid combined hepatocellular-cholangiocarcinoma: a case report and review of literature.
Sarcomatoid combined hepatocellular-cholangiocarcinoma is an extremely rare primary hepatic malignancy and only a few cases have been reported. Herein, we report a case of combined hepatocellular-cholangiocarcinoma with sarcomatoid changes in a 52-year-old man, who had a history of liver cirrhosis and transarterial chemoembolization. The resected liver revealed a mass of 4.5×3.5 cm. Microscopic...
متن کاملCombined Hepatocellular and Cholangiocarcinoma with Sarcomatous Transformation
Combined hepatocellular and cholangiocarcinoma with sarcomatous transformation was first recognized in Ramathibodi Hospital in 2005. This variant of carcinoma has been increasingly reported particularly from Asian countries. Dedifferentiation of the epithelial component to various sarcomatous components is likely the underlying mechanism. The causative factors of hepatocarcinogenesis in Thailan...
متن کاملExophytic combined hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma
Combined hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma (combined HCC-CC) is a rare subtype of liver cancer displaying components of both hepatocellular and cholangiocellular carcinoma. Not only are exophytic liver tumors very rare, but their diagnosis presents a challenge due to the uncertainty of the tumor origin. In this issue, we present a case of exophytic combined HCC-CC with unusual mor...
